Leather Technology

The work in the leather industry is three tiered - De-sign, Manufacture and Marketing. Designing involves creating new patterns in tune with the current trends in fashion. Computer Aided Designing (CAD) is a technique newly introduced in this field. Manufacture involves mass production of designs approved by the Designing Team. Marketing ensures a ready market for these products. Job Market: Employment is available in the primary processing units, production units, designing units and in the product promotion sector. After gaining experience, these professionals can establish their own production units.
